LUCA's outstanding success is directly related to its management team. The management team at LUCA has proven leadership and each person’s expertise is devoted to a specific area of the oil and gas industry. As a result, LUCA’S management team has the ability to effectively create new affiliated companies and identify profitable opportunities to reach its goal of oil exploration, acquisition, and development.
Ms. Yang has 20+ years of management and financial service experience both in China and the USA. She brings a broad understanding of the oil and gas industry and specializes in the areas of project management, operations and acquisitions of mineral properties. She has lead and managed multiple energy projects by following the financial service industry rules and regulations. LUCA is the pioneer company in the oil and gas exploration and production industry in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area. Under Ms. Yang’s leadership, LUCA and its subsidiaries of five oil field operators in Louisiana and Texas have acquired an estimated reserve total of 50 million barrels of oil. Ms. Yang is an energy investment speaker for Major TV/Radio Talk Shows such as KTSF 26 in San Francisco, TV 18 in Los Angeles, and Phoenix Television, a Hong Kong-based television broadcaster. Additionally, she has been a keynote speaker for many of China’s National conferences. She is actively involved in many industry and community activities, she is the Chairwoman of US-China Energy Summit, the Chairwoman of the US New Immigration Association and she volunteers and donates to the Young Deaf Association in Beijing, China. Ms. Yang was honored as the 2011 Women of the Year by the US National Professional Woman Association and received the 2011 Innovation Award from the Chinese National Women Association, the Chinese Women Newspaper and the Development and Innovation Bureau of China. Ms. Yang was born in the famous oil and gas field in Sichuan China. She is a graduate from California State University, CA with a B.S. degree in Business Administration.
Paul is a seasoned and skilled Geophysicist and Geologist with over 30 years of experience in Gulf Coast development and exploration area. He is an innovative and critical thinker with extensive experience in offshore development and exploration of major fields on the shelf and deep water in the Gulf of Mexico. Paul is knowledgeable in many types of deep water and shelf exploration plays, especially salt domes and is able to select top tier opportunities through his usage of rigorous technical analysis; 3-D mapping, seismic sequence stratigraphy, project integrator, geophysics-hydrocarbon indicators/AVO, geology and reservoir engineering. Paul has worked for both major and independent oil companies such as Wagner, Nexen, King Ranch, Amerada Hess, GSI, Mobil and BP in the Houston, TX area and he has maintained good working relationships with leaders of other oil companies. Paul earned his BA degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in Geology/Physics and his Master’s degree from the University of Washington at Seattle in Geophysics.
Anthony has 30+ years experience in finance and management, as CFO, CEO, and COO. As CFO and a specialist in IPOs, Mergers/Acquisitions and Non-profits, he led and advised private/public energy resource and high technology companies from startup to public fortune 50 status. His proven leadership in successful domestic and international transactions related to corporate funding, acquisitions/licensing and formation of a non-profit Canadian Foundation and a United States Foundation (501c3). Additionally, Anthony has held key positions at ManyOne Networks, Inc, Heraeus Surgical, Inc., David Powell, Inc., Computer Motion, Inc., TechOne, Inc., Litton Electronic Devices and is the founder and CEO/CFO of Armored Mobility, Inc. Anthony began his career in finance at Wood Nye & Company as a Certified Public Accountant assisting a diversity of clients with income tax preparation, compliance, audit, and SEC reporting.
Caroline has 8 years of legal experience and is an attorney admitted in the State of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and a registered in-house counsel with the State Bar of California. Prior to joining LUCA, she was an associate attorney with a corporate securities law firm based in San Francisco with a focus on China-related corporate securities practice. She represented numerous Chinese companies in their off-shore structure, PE/VC financing, public and private offerings, and going public on NASDAQ, NYSE/AMEX, and OTCBB in the United States. Caroline advised public companies on their regulatory compliance requirements under the SEC and stock exchange rules and regulations. Before moving to San Francisco, Caroline was an associate attorney and special counsel respectively with two corporate law firms in the financial district of New York City where she practiced in the areas of corporate securities, cross-border transactions, and business/investment immigration matters. In 2003, Caroline was a scholarship recipient and trainee in the English Law program at Oxford University in England. She obtained her LL.B. degree from China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China, and subsequently earned her LL.M. degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. She speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese.
Rolland has 35+ years of Human Resource experience working with senior executives, managers, and teams, in strategic planning, organizational development, human capital planning, M&A and post-merger/acquisition integration initiatives, policy development, transition management, coaching, team engagement, managerial effectiveness and succession planning.
Paul has 25+ years of extensive and comprehensive experience in auditing, financial/tax reporting, fiscal control, taxation, treasury, and corporate headquarters administration. He has served as a senior accounting officer at Citicorp, Mitsui and numerous entrepreneurial nation-wide commercial, and residential real estate developers. Prior to joining LUCA, Paul was the Controller at a Bay Area private equity firm investing in and managing a nation-wide portfolio of real-estate related assets. Paul was instrumental in the design and implementation of cost efficient business structures and in providing clients multi‐state and cross-border tax compliance and planning and accounting/auditing services. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant and a graduate from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.
Lily has 10 years of management experience for a number of international companies in the energy industry. Lily is responsible for performing market analysis, research, sales and the day to day management of the San Gabriel, CA based staff and office. Lily is most grateful to be working with a professional team at LUCA International Group. The opportunity of growing with the company and witnessing the unbelievable success for LUCA and this industry, has led her to be passionately committed to her career. Lily is a graduate from Shanghai International Studies University with a B.S. degree in International Business English. This led to employment in Hong Kong and Shanghai in management and marketing roles for a number of international companies. Subsequently, she moved to the United States to study and gain her M.B.A. from Saginaw Valley State University.
Additionally, Angie spent 11 years at Wells Fargo Bank’s Small Business segment in various roles as Internet Marketing Manager and the Asian Business Services Manager. Angie created/designed a Web site, managed online media campaigns, planned and executed multiple events/trade shows and speaking engagements throughout the United States which included sponsorship and public relations opportunities targeted towards the Asian segment as well as other diverse segments. Most recently, she held a role as a Trading Operations Specialist for Wells Fargo’s Securities and Investment Group, where she wrote Derivatives (Energy - Natural Gas, Oil and Electricity) legal hedging contracts that resulted in sales revenue increased from $8 million in 2006 to $15 million in 2007. Angie is a graduate from San Francisco State School of Business with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. |
